Dedication : Anna Herter

I just wanted to take a moment to remember my sister, Anna Herter, who passed away November 7th, 2008.  I miss you every day, and I love you with all of my heart.

My love,
My heart,
My inspiration.
Each day the sunshine you brought
With that crooked perfect smile
Upon your beautiful-- deep, honey browned face,
And each day you made us love you more.
The things you did,
Made us laugh and smile
Though remembering still feels so hard.
Those little notes you sent
In afternoons glorious light
Brightened each day we had with you.
So we watch as brilliant wings,
Of metallic pinks and shimmering purples
Flutter in the skies bright lights
Carrying you on to loves next life,
Hoping each day is better than your last,
Hoping you are gifted
Every dreams desire you had ever.
I love and miss you as sure as my heart beats
And look forward to being graced again.
Blessed be sister of my soul,
I honor you always.

In loving memory of Anna Rose Ruchika Herter

My sister and friend

Artist

So......

Someone has decided to help me with some art.  My goal has been to eventually cross this over into the realm of graphic novels.  I think it would be so fun to see what I see in beautifully crafted pictures by an amazing artist.  Somehow I managed to find an AMAZING artist.  We'll see what he comes up with.  I look forward to sharing Calista with you!

July 30, 2013

I have come to understand that writing is a difficult, long, and extremely soul barring process.  I have issues keeping myself on task because I find that even I can lose my creative momentum.  Everything is weighed on the picture I can see so clearly in my head, but am unable to put down myself because I am not that kind of artist.  I cannot create beautiful pieces that you may hang on walls, but hopefully those that will remain embedded forever in your soul.
